Men's Invitation Guest Day Rules

MEN’S INVITATION GUEST DAY
Thursday 4 July 2024.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Full and mid-week golf pass holders, with a WHS handicap, may enter and introduce one guest only. The guest can be a member of the Royal Automobile Club, however, is required to be a member of a golf club with an official WHS handicap.

Entries are taken on a first come basis. Golf pass holders though must provide guest details otherwise entry will not be accepted.


ENTRY FEES
The entry fee is £TBC per pair and includes early morning tea/coffee and bacon roll, Golf Invitational Day Buffet Lunch with wine and prizes. The event is scheduled to close by 4.30pm.

Entry fees will be charged to Golf pass holders accounts.

COMPETITIONS / HANDICAPS

The Guest Day will consist of 18-holes on the Old Course.

OLD COURSE
Format: 4 Ball Better Ball Stableford
Handicaps: No Handicap restriction.
Playing Handicap = 85 per cent of Course Handicap.


Nearest the Pin competitions will be held on the Old Course on hole 3 (Pass holders), hole 13 (Guest) and hole 17 (Pass holder or Guest).

A shotgun start will be in operation commencing at 8.30am on the Old Course. Players starting from a hole with an (a) please tee off at 8.20am.

ENTRY FORMS
Will be available to download from the weekly golf news, as well as on the homepage of Intelligent golf. Once completed, please email to golfoperations@royalautomobileclub.co.uk
by no later than TBC. Entries received after this date may not be accepted.

TEE TIMES/COMPETITION DRAW SHEET
A starting sheet will be emailed to all Golf pass holders soon after the closing date.

Arrangements should be made through the Golf Reception on 01372 229245. Only players with a doctor’s medical certificate will be able to use a buggy.

Prizes will be awarded for the 4 Ball Better Ball Stableford competition 1st - 3rd placed teams, and to Nearest the pin hole 3 (Pass holders), hole 13 (Guest) and hole 17 (Pass holder or Guest).

10. CATERING ARRANGEMENTS
The arrangements for catering throughout the day are as follows:

Morning Tea/Coffee and Bacon roll: from 7.00am onwards served in the Cedar Room.

Golf Invitational Day Buffet Lunch: A buffet lunch inclusive of a half bottle of Club wine per person will be served in the Cedar Room from 2.30pm
Dress Code: Jacket & Tie
